How to Install, Launch and Exit AutoGraf 4
AutoGraf 4 Installation
It takes just a few simple steps to install AutoGraf 4 on your computer:
Step 0. (To run AutoGraf 4 you must install client terminal MetaTrader 4 by MetaQuotes Software Corp. Company on your computer.)
Step 1. Download the setup file of the last version of AutoGraf 4.
Step 2. Close the MetaTrader 4 terminal.
Step 3. Launch the AutoGraf 4 setup file.
Follow the installation instructions in the dialog windows. Click OK or Next to go to the next installation step. When asked to select the installation folder, choose the MetaTrader 4 folder on your computer (see pic. below).
When the last stage of the installation process is completed, close the installation window. Your AutoGraf 4 is now successfully installed and must be launched to start working.
Launching AutoGraf 4
AutoGraf 4 can work only within the MetaTrader 4 client terminal, so begin by launching MT4 first. There are 2 ways to launch AutoGraf 4 from the MetaTrader 4:
Option 1. Click Charts 
on the MT4 main toolbar, choose Templates. After you have installed AutoGraf 4, templates AG4 and AG4_white will be added to the default MT4 template list. Use these templates to run AutoGraf 4 in the financial instrument window (for black and white window backgrounds respectively). Select and click one of the templates. As a result of this selection, AutoGraf 4 will be launched in the financial instrument window (on the chart) i.e. indicator AG_ind and expert AG_exp will be launched.
To run the application immediately, the Experts button 
must be green and the option Allow live trading must be selected in the Tools/Options/Expert Adviser menu. When the application starts working you will see the message "Welcome to application AutoGraf" in the indicator window.
Normally, for practical trading purposes, one or more indicators are set on the chart. A User should desire to make these indicators permanent on the chart after the application has stopped working, when it’s launched the next time. But if you use Option 1 to launch AutoGraf 4, all other indicators will be deleted from the chart. (You may also create your own template of settings, using the MT4 client terminal tools). To prevent this you can use the second option to launch Auto Graf 4.
Option 2. When AutoGraf 4 has been installed, you will see expert AG_exp and indicator AG_ind in the MT4 Navigator window. To run the application drag and drop AG_ind and AG_exp to the chart with your mouse (it’s mandatory to apply both the expert and the indicator to the chart) or rightclick AG_ind and AG_exp in the Navigator and select Attach to Chart in the context menu:
 | Note! A user may need to remove expert AG_exp and indicator AG_ind from the financial instrument window. In this case, adding the expert and the indicator to the Favorites will make it easier to launch the AutoGraf 4 application next time. |
Exiting AutoGraf 4
To close AutoGraf 4, delete one of its components from the financial instrument window. As a result, all graphic objects created by AutoGraf 4 will be deleted from the chart. But the graphic objects created manually by the user or by another program (for example a custom indicator or a script, that has been launched prior to AutoGraf 4 or during its work) will remain. When AutoGraf 4 is closed, all user settings selected during the current session will be deleted as well.
You may leave AutoGraf 4 running when you log out of MT4. When you start your MetaTrader 4 the next time MT4, AutoGraf 4 will be launched automatically. In this case, momentarily,(while the client terminal is connecting to the trading server) you may see graphic objects (order lines, instrument icons, etc.) that have been left from the previous trading session. These objects will be deleted automatically before the start of the current trading session and will not impact the current trading session in any way.
